Bankruptcy Attorney
Daniel E. Bassir is a bankruptcy attorney at Kostopoulos Bankruptcy Law. He helps individuals facing financial hardship understand their legal options with clarity, diligence, and respect.
As an associate attorney, Daniel works closely with clients during the bankruptcy process. He helps people understand how Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 may provide legal protection when they are dealing with creditor pressure, collection calls, lawsuits, wage garnishment, foreclosure concerns, or overwhelming debt.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University and his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. During law school, he demonstrated strong academic performance and received the Book Award for excellence in Contracts and Business Organization.
While completing his legal education, Daniel participated in the Bankruptcy Pro Bono Clinic Program, where he provided legal assistance to indigent clients seeking bankruptcy relief. This experience strengthened his commitment to public service, client advocacy, and helping people through difficult financial situations.
Daniel is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. He is fluent in Arabic and is actively involved in volunteer efforts within the Metro Detroit Middle Eastern-American community. His background allows him to serve clients from diverse communities with care, understanding, and clear communication.
